Summer Fellowship Activities!

Though the busy church schedule has slowed down to allow for vacations and advance planning, research and development, we're offering two inexpensive, fun-filled activities for the family.

Super Summer Theater—Friday, July 18

Go back to 1776 and see how hilariously the Declaration of Independence really was signed!  Super Summer Theater presents 1776, a rollicking musical and we’re forming a platoon of patriots to go out to the Spring Mountain Ranch on Friday night, July 18.  Tickets are $10 per person (children under 5 free).  Bring a sleeping bag or blanket to sit on (for those wishing chairs, they are available for $1 rental).  We need your commitment by June 23!  Tickets will be distributed on Sundays, June 28 and July 6.  The gate opens at 6 pm, so let’s carpool from church.  We leave at 5:15 pm on Friday, July 18.  (Latecomers can meet us at the Ranch.)  And bring a picnic lunch for your family!  Show starts at dusk (8:00).  Shirtsleeves and shorts (you will be a bit chilly towards the end) recommended.

51s Baseball Fellowship—Friday, August 8

We had such a great time at the last game in May that we want to go again. This time your ticket includes admission to the “Family Fun Fest” just outside the main gates. It includes a Minor League Baseball Museum, XBox Home Run Derby Video Game, Batting and Pitching Cages, Bungee Runs, Huge side-by-side Giant Slide and Baseball Bounce Houses. The Fun Fest is 4-7 pm with the game starting at 7:05 pm. But that is not all! There will also be fireworks after the game. So come early or stay late or both. Tickets are $8/person and include and hat and admission to the Fun Fest. (children 3 and under are free)
